Hot, hot hot...

If you aren't in the Southeastern U.S., you may not know this, but it has been 100 degrees or higher for 11 days straight. It's HOT. It's hard to find a cool place anywhere, even inside. We're having to run fans in the house in addition to air conditioning just to keep the place comfortable. The swimming pools are like bathwater, not even refreshing anymore. And it's certainly too hot to sit beside the pool. You could die of a heat stroke just sitting there. I've been eating a lot of popsicles.

The crew is still working at my house. At this stage in the game, it's pretty much cleanup work and fixing the things they broke in the process of working. (And I'm not posting any more pictures until it's all done.) The overhead door guys came out yesterday to fix the new overhead door that wouldn't stay open. They had a ladder, but for some reason they needed something else to stand on. So, they poured the water out of Blue's water bucket and turned it upside down to use as a step. The problem? They didn't put it back out and fill it with water for the dog. They left it upside down in the stoarge building. So, it was 100+ degrees outside and Blue had no water all afternoon. Thoughtful, guys. Blue appreciates your consideration.
