Okay, so sleeping on the couch isn't all that bad. The contractor said he'll have the cable fixed by the time they finish the job next week. I'm willing to make sacrifices to have TV at bedtime. Blue is still sleeping on the dirt right in front of the back door. It's neat when I can watch Blue sleeping late at night. I used to think he didn't ever sleep at all because he is always running - "tricky-trotting" is what I like to call his "normal" walking speed.
Anyway, back to the point of this post... the crew made progress on Day 2. They finished framing up the back porch and the building site...
they installed the French drain...
and Blue showed the backhoe just what he thinks about the destruction of "his" space (the back porch) and all the noise...
Looks like we're ready for concrete. Stay tuned for Day 3 updates.
