Conversation in the car after our orthodontist appointment today:
Me: Meme and Papa Jim are home; they got home yesterday afternoon.
Leyden: Where have they been?
Me: Peru, on a mission trip. We read their blog and sent them messages, remember?
Leyden: Oh... yeah.
~Pause
Leyden: How long were they there?
Kristi: Over a week. Why?
Leyden: I thought Meme had taken me shopping, and she got me a purple top. I couldn't find it this morning. She also got me some jeans that weren't too long, and a pair of purple flip flops. I couldn't find any of it this morning, and I couldn't figure out why. I must've dreamed it!
