Celebration Week Update - Kristi's Birthday

The first part of Celebration Week (my birthday) was so much fun! I wore Leyden's tiara all day so I was the birthday princess.

My boss surprised me with a wonderful breakfast birthday party, complete with birthday candles in the Sister Schubert's cinnamon rolls! We also had Sister Schubert's pigs in a blanket and fruit (strawberries, apples, and blueberries) that my boss and her husband stayed up all night cutting. It was YUMMY!

Brad took me to lunch at Wings, and I had the best grilled fish sandwich. The waitress gave me funny looks because I was wearing a tiara, so I told her I wasn't crazy - it's my birthday! She was relieved.

For dinner, we met my parents at Ixtapa (my favorite Mexican restaurant) and it was yummy, too! Mom, Dad and Leyden gave me perfume and shower gel in my favorite scent. Brad and Leyden got a gift certificate for me to get my car windows tinted, and I am SO happy! All I have to do is drop my car off and pick it up! And I managed to get out of Ixtapa without having to wear a sombrero and listen to their Happy Birthday song. I can't believe Leyden forgot to tell them!

Since it was my birthday, none of the calories I ate that day counted, of course!

I am so grateful for all the thoughts, cards, prayers, and gifts. I love my friends and family!

In my next post, I'll tell you about the next part of Celebration Week - mine and Leyden's trip to Savannah, Georgia.
