It Ain't Workin'

Well, Blue has crossed the fence, challenged the boundary, escaped - whatever you want to call it - at least once a day - every day - since my last post. So, yesterday Tim from DogWatch came and put a different collar on Blue and said he has to be re-trained. Blue is officially on restriction again; he has to stay on the leash for awhile. Tim suggested that we get one of those posts that go in the ground with a long lead attached to it and put it near the fenceline so Blue can "re-train" while being outside. When Brad told me that, I laughed out loud. I said, "Brad, did you remind Tim that this dog pulled several feet of PVC pipe out of the ground WHEN HE WAS A PUPPY?" We haven't gotten the post with a lead on it yet, but when we do, I'll let you know how long it takes Blue to pull it up out of the ground and run around the neighborhood with it dragging behind him.
